Full-Time Permanent Pharmacist

Location: 17-18 Bedford Rd, Houghton Regis, Dunstable, LU5 5ES Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per year (Depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM (Weekends off)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and patient-focused Full-Time Pharmacist to join our team on a permanent basis at our established pharmacy in Houghton Regis. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional healthcare advice, clinical services, and medication management to our local community.

This role offers an incredible, stable daytime schedule with absolutely no weekend work and no late nights, providing a rare and highly sought-after work-life balance for community pharmacists.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient clinical checking and dispensing of prescriptions.
Lead, support, and develop the dispensary team to maintain exceptional operational standards and high morale.
Deliver essential, advanced, and enhanced clinical services (such as Pharmacy First, NMS, and seasonal vaccinations).
Offer professional clinical consultations and expert over-the-counter advice to patients.
Ensure full compliance with GPhC regulations, NHS contracts, and pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain strong professional relationships with local GP surgeries and nearby healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Must be a GPhC Registered Pharmacist (open to both experienced pharmacists and newly qualified individuals).
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for clinical service delivery and outstanding patient care.
Accredited to deliver key clinical services (e.g., Pharmacy First, flu vaccinations) or enthusiastic about completing training.
Right to work in the UK.
