The purpose ofthe role
CBREGlobal Workplace Solutions, leading global provider of integrated facilitiesand corporate real estate management, are recruiting a Technical Supervisor tojoin the team. Although you shall beable to work remotely, you will be expected to visit the central management teambased in the Milton Keynes office as well as the engineering team out in the South-Westregion on a weekly basis.
Youwould be responsible for providing support to a team ofrefrigeration/electrical and fabric techs who provide preventative maintenance,repairs on equipment and systems as well as supervise a team of techs.

What You’ll Do:

Determine andensure delivery of the priorities within the region to ensure BAU, customerobjectives and continuous improvement is delivered for the customer.
Develop andimplement the required programmes/action plans to ensure delivery of theidentified strategies and objectives for the region and broader operationsfunction.
Plan and managethe cyclical work requirements to ensure optimum service delivery throughoutthe year.
Support to carry out quality checks of recently completedmaintenance and repair work and repair work to ensure work is carried outproperly.
Verify POs/invoicesraised for works related to reactive/PM maintenance.
Build andmaintain effective and positive working relationships with the customer,ensuring a good understanding of their requirements and challenges.
Manageescalations within a timely manner achieving efficient solutions within agreedtimeframes.
Support thedelivery of SLA’s and KPI’s across the contract.
Collect, analyse,and report good quality data identifying trends, areas for improvement andpotential corrective actions across all key delivery areas.
Timely andeffective management and implementation of the people management Annual Leave,training etc.
Ensure resourcesare effectively planned and utilised to ensure availability of required skillsacross all operational hours, considering absence and annual leave.
Work with theOperations Manager to set objectives and performance measures for the fieldteams.
Manage, lead,motivate and coach engineers and contribute to the management of the widerengineering and self-delivery team.
Run consistent,structured, effective, and productive Team meetings in person and online.
Ensure a solidunderstanding of current contract to make the most appropriate service andcommercial decisions.
Be aware ofsub-contractor activity in the region, monitor and review the quality of worksand report on contractor performance.
As part of themanagement team, provide management cover and support across regions to ensurecustomer service levels are always maintained, including providing appropriatecover in the absence of the Operations manager.
Monitoring spendwithin the region.
Workcollaboratively with all the teams to provide a joined-up approach to servicedelivery.
Identify trainingand development needs to improve the skill levels within the teams for bothcurrent and future service delivery.
Take ownership ofthe talent management and succession planning processes for the region toensure there is a sufficient pipeline of talent across the operations team.
Complete regularsite audits and update findings to the business and keep the dilapidationreport updated.
Drive continuous improvement andinnovation. Support the undertaking of peer reviews, site assessments, andtechnical competence evaluations.
Lead by example and model behaviorsthat are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of sharedinterests to reach an agreement.

What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering orrelated field preferred.
Experience in project or propertymanagement of multi-location retail sites, with preferred knowledge of fuelsystems, electronic and general maintenance and project planning.
Experience in the areas of staffing,selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising,and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

Ability to guide theexchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, conveyperformance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills tomotivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the jobdiscipline and department.
Excellent clientrelationship skills.
In-depth knowledge ofMicrosoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensiveorganizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
