Job Summary;

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in creating a positive impression of our hotel and enhancing the overall guest experience. The successful applicant will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality graduate or postgraduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience and build a long-term career within the hospitality industry in a professional and guest-focused hotel environment.

Responsibilities;

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly welcome.
Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately.
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with precision.
Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
Manage phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Assist with billing inquiries and process payments as required.
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively, escalating when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or guest services role is preferred but not essential.
Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
