Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sessional Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and supporting students across various subjects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and committed to fostering a positive learning environment. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking flexible teaching opportunities on a sessional basis. Must be able to teach online from the school setting.

Duties

Prepare and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum guidelines, ensuring clarity and engagement.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Develop customised learning materials tailored to diverse student needs.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans.
Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and programme updates.
Organise classroom resources and ensure the learning environment is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

Proven proficiency in English language instruction or related teaching experience.
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Knowledge of IT tools and educational software to enhance teaching delivery.
Organisational skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and student records efficiently.
Nice-to-have skills include plumbing knowledge or experience, which may be beneficial for specialised sessions or technical workshops.
Prior experience in teaching or tutoring is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary.
A recognised qualification in education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. This role offers an enriching environment for educators eager to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexible working arrangements.

Pay: £25.00-£35.00 per hour
