Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic reception and bar team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service in a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for hospitality. This position is perfect for individuals eager to develop their guest service skills within a vibrant setting.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
Handle guest enquiries with professionalism via phone, email, or in person, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
Assist with reservations, bookings, and general guest services to enhance customer experience
Serve food & beverages at the bar and restaurant, ensure all orders are prepared accurately and promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and bar station
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Uphold health and safety standards in all aspects of the role, including responsible alcohol service
Support event set-up and breakdown as required, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, hotel reception, or guest services is essential
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests from diverse backgrounds
Excellent phone etiquette and organisational abilities are essential for managing reservations and guest interactions
A friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Ability to work flexibly during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the venue’s operational hours
Previous experience working in hospitality environments will be considered an asset but is not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
