Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing personalised support to a female client, fostering their development and wellbeing. This position offers an enriching opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of those you support, working within a nurturing and professional environment. The role is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about mentoring, working with a female client.

Duties

Deliver personalised support programmes tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and confidence
Assist female client with daily activities, including personal care, social interaction, and accessing the community for days out etc..
Mentor our female client through one-to-one interactions, offering guidance and encouragement
Collaborate with families, and other professionals to ensure consistent support strategies are implemented
Document progress and report any concerns or significant developments to senior staff
Assist in organising activities that promote learning, socialisation, and personal growth

Experience

Previous experience working with a learning disability client is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for successful candidates
A caring attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work flexibly within a team-oriented environment
Passion for supporting young people's development and wellbeing
