Full job description

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our Housekeeping team, straight shifts 8:00 - 4:00 at our privately owned hotel. This is a full time role, working 5 days out of 7.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role who can show their ability to work hard with the relevant skills. You'll need to thrive on making sure every room is serviced to the highest levels of cleanliness and deliver great results to ensure the happiness of all our guests. You will be a part of a great team, working alongside your other staff to ensure all hotel rooms and communal areas are perfectly clean and in tip-top condition.

Responsibilities and Duties

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

Checking and support of the cleaning of rooms on a daily basis
Following necessary policies and procedures to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness
Ensuring lost property is kept safely and returned to its owner
Reporting maintenance issues when necessary
Ensuring all bedrooms and communal areas are kept up to the highest standard

Qualifications and Skills

Attention to detail to ensure rooms are spic and span and well serviced
Basic health and safety knowledge - training will be provided
You've got to be self-motivated, adaptable, an excellent team player - always willing to get stuck in
You need to be efficient and effective to ensure rooms are ready for check in
