Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Travel Agent to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, providing expert advice on destinations, accommodation, and transportation options. A background in hospitality or hotel experience is highly desirable, as it enhances the ability to deliver exceptional service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant travel environment, helping clients create memorable journeys while ensuring smooth and efficient travel planning.

Duties

Assist clients in selecting and booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and holiday packages based on their preferences and budgets
Provide expert advice on travel destinations, visa requirements, travel insurance, and local attractions
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, airline policies, and destination information
Process reservations accurately using specialised booking systems and ensure all documentation is complete
Handle client enquiries via phone, email, or face-to-face with professionalism and courtesy
Organise customised travel itineraries tailored to individual client needs
Follow up with clients post-travel to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction
Keep detailed records of bookings and client interactions for future reference

Requirements

Previous experience in the hospitality industry or hotel environment is highly advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Customer-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding service
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Proficiency in using booking software and Microsoft Office applications
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client demands
