Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive housekeeping assistant to join us on a self-employed basis from 9.30am - 4.00pm every Monday & Friday. Great attention to detail is key and a will to travel to our rural location. Having your own car and driving licence is vital and please check the commute distance before applying.

Responsibilities

Carry out 5* cleaning in our holiday cottages on change-over days
Help in our on-site laundry room with washing, drying and ironing duties
Assist in maintaining inventory/product stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
Collaborate with the manager to uphold high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility
Address guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning/housekeeping role is highly desirable
Knowledge on product, hygiene & cleanliness practices and standards
Organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and guests
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team is crucial
Excellent time management and able to independently structure your day productively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £16.50 per hour
