Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Stonemason to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacture and fitting kitchen worktops and their like for mostly private customers.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, shape, and fit granite, marble, stone and quartz with precision.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of designs.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other tradespeople such as carpenters and builders to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Perform maintenance tasks on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation.

Qualifications

Proven experience in masonry or stonemasonry is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as angle grinders and polishing tools.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship quality standards.
Good physical fitness with the occasional ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required.
