Full job description

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic Shared Service Centre team. This individual will play a key role in the execution of critical finance processes, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while adhering to established procedures and controls.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. They will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced shared service environment.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

Oversee the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial records in line with finance Service Level Agreements (e.g., SLAs)
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations (e.g., define process and timeline for reconciling intercompany transactions between regions during month end).

Who You Are:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a finance operations role, preferably within a shared service centre environment.
Strong understanding of key finance processes and systems.
Strong understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
