Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive technology and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. The position involves working with various tools and equipment, adhering to safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify issues using schematics and technical manuals
Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately diagnose problems
Carry out welding and equipment repair as required to restore vehicle functionality
Assist with vehicle assembly and modifications as needed
Perform heavy lifting of parts and components safely during repairs or replacements
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly

Experience

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive repair role
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, and equipment repair
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diagnostics is desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Prior experience working in a customer-focused environment is advantageous

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within a professional setting dedicated to quality service. All positions are paid, hours can be flexible, pay based on experience. **Not required to work weekends** Not suitable for a newly qualified candidate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
