IT Support Team Leader – New Opportunity at Drive

Are you an experienced IT professional looking for your next step?
Do you come from a 1st/2nd Line support background and enjoy supporting others while delivering high-quality IT services? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

Drive is seeking an IT Support Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of our IT function, reporting to the ICT & Digital Manager.

Based in Nantgarw, supporting our IT services across South Wales

In this role, you will:

Lead a small IT team, ensuring smooth day-to-day service delivery
Provide guidance and support to colleagues within the team
Remain hands-on with technical support, troubleshooting, and escalations
Help improve IT processes and service standards

About you:

Proven experience in a 1st/2nd Line IT support role
Some experience supporting, mentoring, or guiding colleagues
Strong technical troubleshooting skills across core Microsoft technologies
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with excellent communication skills

Role details:

37.5 hours per week
Salary: £33,610.75 (CEN 5)
Closing date: 19th of June 2026
Interview: 23rd of June 2026
