We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead one of our children's homes, ensuring exceptional care and creating a positive, empowering environment for young people.

About the Role:

As Registered Manager, you will support young people in all aspects of daily life within our home, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and empowered to achieve their own goals. You will lead and manage the home, ensuring compliance, inspiring the team, and driving continuous improvement to achieve positive outcomes for our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a warm, welcoming home that provides a safe, supportive environment where young people can thrive and achieve outcomes authentic to them.
Leading and inspiring a motivated, skilled team, providing guidance, development, and support to ensure high standards of care.
Ensuring full compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and delivering consistently high-quality care.
Managing budgets, resources, and the home environment efficiently and effectively.
Safeguarding young people, ensuring their welfare is always the priority, and working in partnership with professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Driving continuous improvement, ensuring the home’s Statement of Purpose is delivered, reviewed, and reflected in practice.
Creating a nurturing, empowering culture where both young people and staff feel valued and supported.
Preparing for and leading the home through Ofsted inspections, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Extensive experience within children’s residential care, including experience at management level.
✅ Strong knowledge of safeguarding, relevant legislation, and regulatory standards.
✅ Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to build and lead an effective team.
✅ A commitment to providing a nurturing, empowering, and child-centred environment.
✅ NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce - essential.
✅ QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children's Services - or willingness to undertake this as part of the role.
✅ Full UK driving licence - essential.
