Job Overview

Join our vibrant café team as a Barista / Front of House team member, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for every guest. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming visitors, crafting delicious beverages, and ensuring smooth service operations. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Must be available to work weekends in our busy cafe

Wage can be decided on performance and experience

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their café experience
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and care
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods when needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and service stations
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and manage customer payments efficiently
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure safe handling and serving of food and beverages
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication skills
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction processing accurately
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Basic food preparation skills to assist with light kitchen duties when necessary
A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
