Full job description

Pretty Lovely Lingerie has a new vacancy for a retail/ e-commerce assistant to join its busy and successful store on Narberth high street. You will have a good working knowledge of Shopify and Lightspeed. The E-commerce assistant will be responsible for running our busy online shop. You will work very closely with the manager on a day to day basis to ensure the smooth running of the website and social media platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Online Shop, Social Media & Marketing— Create, edit and upload product photography and descriptions to the e-commerce platform and remove discontinued/out-of-stock items in a timely manner. Advertise new products on social media and use marketing strategies to maximise online sales.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

A successful Retail, E-commerce, Fashion or Marketing career track record
A strong work ethic and proven track record of being proactive and using initiative within Retail
A clear understanding and proven delivery of good customer service
Able to deal with customer enquiries on own initiative, responding to queries and complaints in a constructive and prompt manner
Able to work independently and creatively, pre-empting and problem-solving issues as needed
Possesses excellent communication skills
Is friendly, approachable and professional when dealing with customers and staff in person, over the phone or in writing
Experience of successfully using computerised stock management systems, Microsoft Office and e-commerce platforms
An interest in fashion and the lingerie industry

REQUIREMENT

Work 5 days a week including Saturday

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £12.71-£13.75 per hour

Experience:

Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
