Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Your energy and hands-on approach will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork, safety, and quality are prioritized, providing you with opportunities to develop your skills across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and general yard upkeep
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators and irrigation systems under supervision
Support construction activities by loading/unloading materials, preparing sites, and performing basic assembly tasks
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and functionality
Follow safety protocols diligently while working on-site to prevent accidents or injuries
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines
Perform general cleaning and organization of work areas to maintain a safe and productive environment

Requirements

Prior experience in construction, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
Basic understanding of irrigation systems or experience with equipment maintenance is a plus
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is preferred but not required
