We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Project Manager – Rail to join our dynamic NW&C team at Rugby. 40 hrs per week, hybrid working – office and site.
In this role, you will manage all aspects of the project bringing together each required discipline. Working in a collaborative partnership with Network Rail across five E&P Frameworks within the NW&C region, delivering safe, efficient and value-driven outcomes

What You’ll Do:

Accountable for submitting and meeting accurate forecasts for cost and turnover achieving forecast margins for allocated contracts.

Effectively lead and line manage project teams, including training, development and performance management.

Ensure that allocated contracts are effectively planned and progress reviewed on a weekly basis.

Timely submission of weekly PAPM/CAPM’s and period end Balanced Scorecard reports to an agreed format (to include the Amey Essentials KPIs).

To support the tender processes and strategy as required.

Establish and manage a clear communication plan for Client and suppliers as appropriate meeting Amey Essential KPIs.

To ensure that Client and key Stakeholders aspirations are fully understood and incorporated into the delivery plan as appropriate.

What You’ll Bring:

Significant project management experience successfully delivering multi- discipline projects within the railway infrastructure with responsibility for P&L at project level.

CDM working within Principal contractor experience
-
Process driven individual with proven ability to lead multidiscipline teams.

Commercially experienced and competent.

Skilled at customer and supply chain management in challenging environments
-
Computer literacy – Excel, Word, Power point and Microsoft Outlook.
