Hillbrook Grange Care Home is a charity-run, 35-bed residential home set within 7 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland in the heart of Bramhall Village, Stockport. The Role

As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing compassionate, person-centred care and leading by example.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting residents with personal care on a one-to-one basis
Providing assistance and guidance with daily living activities
Developing and implementing personalised care plans alongside the care team
Administering medication safely and accurately
Supporting residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing
Encouraging participation in activities and hobbies with our Activities Co-ordinator
Promoting residents' dignity, privacy, choice and rights at all times
Supervising and supporting Care Givers within the team
Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience working in a care setting
Experience working night shifts within a care environment
Ideally, previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or in a similar supervisory role
Experience administering medication and maintaining accurate records
A caring, compassionate and person-centred approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The ability to lead, support and mentor Care Givers
A commitment to promoting residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing
Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
