UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT & OWNERSHIP

Join the dedicated team at Scalford Court Care Home, now under new management and ownership. We're committed to creating a positive, professional, and caring environment where both residents and staff feel valued and supported.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Cleaner to join our team at Scalford Court Care Home. Working overnight to ensure our home remains clean, safe, and comfortable for residents, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the high standards our residents deserve.

Shift times: 10:00pm – 6:00am

This role operates on a 2-week rotating pattern:

Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (4 nights)
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (3 nights)

Main Responsibilities

Cleaning Duties:

Clean and maintain all communal areas, corridors, and bathrooms to a high standard
Follow infection control and COSHH guidelines at all times
Ensure the home is safe, tidy, and presentable throughout the night
Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the on-duty care team
Keep cleaning equipment clean, organised, and safely stored
Support a hygienic and welcoming environment for residents and staff

Team & Communication:

Work closely with the night team and report any concerns promptly
Participate in handovers and training as required

Health & Safety:

Follow all Health & Safety, Fire, and Infection Control procedures
Report accidents, incidents, or hazards immediately
Promote a safe and calm environment throughout the night

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in their work
Calm and able to work independently through the night
A team player with good communication skills
Experienced in cleaning (preferred) or willing to learn through full training
Flexible to work nights, including some weekends and bank holidays
