Job Overview

Anerley Estate is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Assistant Construction Project Manager to support the successful delivery of residential, commercial and mixed-use property development projects.

Working alongside the Development Director and senior project team, you will assist in managing projects from acquisition and planning through to construction and completion. The role involves coordinating consultants, contractors and suppliers, monitoring project progress, attending site meetings, maintaining project documentation and helping ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in property development and construction project management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with the planning and delivery of residential and commercial construction projects.
Coordinate architects, planning consultants, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors and suppliers.
Attend project and site meetings, recording minutes and monitoring action points.
Monitor project programmes and report progress to senior management.
Carry out regular site inspections to assess construction progress, quality and compliance.
Assist in monitoring project budgets, valuations and construction costs.
Coordinate procurement of contractors, materials and specialist consultants.
Maintain accurate project records, drawings, contracts, specifications and correspondence.
Liaise with local authorities, utility companies and statutory bodies where required.
Support the discharge of planning conditions and Building Control requirements.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is completed to the required quality standards.
Assist in identifying project risks and implementing appropriate solutions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
Support senior management with the successful delivery of multiple developments simultaneously.

Skills & Experience

Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to build effective relationships with contractors, consultants and stakeholders.

Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
