Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional management skills, and a proven track record in retail or sales management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, manage diverse teams, and ensure the achievement of organisational goals. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate effective communication across diverse customer and staff groups. The successful applicant will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of service, fostering a positive work environment, and implementing organisational policies efficiently.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and supervise teams to achieve operational excellence and meet organisational objectives.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business growth and customer satisfaction.
Oversee daily store or branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage sales targets, analyse performance metrics, and develop strategies to optimise revenue streams.
Coordinate merchandising activities to maximise visual appeal and product placement.
Maintain high standards of communication with staff, customers, and stakeholders through effective phone etiquette and organisational skills.
Conduct regular staff training sessions to promote professional development and improve team performance.
Oversee administrative functions including scheduling, budgeting, inventory control, and reporting.
Foster a positive organisational culture centred on teamwork, leadership, and excellent customer service.
Ensure health & safety regulations are adhered to across all operational areas.

Requirements

Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with supervising experience preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
Demonstrated organisational skills with proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and inventory management.
Experience in merchandising and sales management strategies.
Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Strong phone etiquette coupled with excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external communication.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing organisational needs while maintaining focus on strategic goals.
Organised with a proactive approach towards problem-solving and decision-making. This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to lead a vibrant team within a thriving organisation while contributing significantly to its success through innovative management practices.

Pay: £27,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
