Creative Kidz Childcare Ltd is a family‑run provider with over 20 years’ experience delivering high‑quality wraparound care and holiday clubs across Hampshire. We are recruiting a Deputy Club Manager to support our club teams and help deliver fun, safe and engaging childcare for children aged 4–11 years.
Location:
Hamble (SO31 4ND)
You will need to ensure you can reliably travel to the setting for those times therefore a car driver is ideal.
Term time Hours
Monday to Friday - 7.20am to 8.50am and 3pm to 6pm, 22.5 hours per week
School holidays
Overtime opportunities : Monday to Friday up to 47.5 hours per week

As Breakfast Club Manager, you’ll support the Club Manager and lead the team when required, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and communication. This includes:
- Leading fun, creative and active play sessions
- Supporting children’s wellbeing, confidence and social development
- Helping plan and deliver high‑quality activities
- Ensuring safe daily set‑up, pack‑down and site organisation
- Maintaining excellent safeguarding and health & safety practice
- Supporting staff, apprentices and volunteers
- Communicating effectively with parents, schools and colleagues
- Deputising fully in the Club Manager’s absence

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Club Manager for our Breakfast Clubs programme. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children, and collaborating with staff and parents to support children's wellbeing and development. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team in delivering high-quality childcare services within a vibrant community setting. Candidates should possess strong organisational skills, a passion for working with children, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the Breakfast Clubs, ensuring smooth operation from opening to closing.
- Supervise staff, including teaching assistants and childcare workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that promotes children's safety, happiness, and learning.
- Develop and implement engaging activities that cater to various age groups and interests.
- Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to, maintaining a secure environment for children and staff.
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
- Manage administrative tasks such as attendance records, activity planning, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with external agencies or professionals when necessary to support children's individual needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare, teaching, nannying or similar roles involving working with children.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is desirable but not essential.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation or outreach activities.
- A caring attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing.
- Ability to work flexibly during morning hours typical of Breakfast Clubs schedules.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are advantageous but not mandatory if accompanied by substantial practical experience. Pay: £13.18-£16.29 per hour
