Purpose of the Role

The Physiotherapist will provide high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients of Lambert Sports Clinic and Lambert Medical Practice, working on a self-employed, zero-hours basis on Saturdays. The post-holder is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based clinical care in line with professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and formulate individualised treatment plans.
Deliver hands-on physiotherapy treatment, rehabilitation, and advice to patients across a range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.
Maintain accurate, timely, and legible clinical records in accordance with clinic policy and professional standards.
Work collaboratively with GPs, clinicians, and support staff at both sites to ensure coordinated patient care.
Ensure all treatment is delivered safely, ethically, and within the scope of the practitioner's professional registration.
Manage own clinical caseload and appointment schedule on the agreed working day (Saturday).
Adhere to clinic health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding procedures.
Maintain professional development and keep clinical knowledge and skills up to date.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Registration

Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) desirable.
Must currently reside in the UK and have lived here for a minimum of 4 years.

Experience

Proven experience in musculoskeletal and/or sports physiotherapy, ideally within a private clinic or sports setting.

Skills and Attributes

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and manage own caseload.
Good organisational skills and attention to accurate record-keeping.
Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
