Auto Sanctuary is a premium vehicle styling and protection company specialising in vehicle wrapping, paint protection film (PPF), detailing, window tinting, body kit installations and vehicle enhancements.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Automotive Fitter & Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our team.
The Role
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with a mechanical or automotive background who takes pride in their work and has a genuine passion for cars.
You will be responsible for the safe removal and refitting of vehicle components, preparing vehicles for wrap and PPF installations, carrying out vehicle preparation and detailing (full training provided), and assisting our installation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills within the vehicle styling industry, with training provided in detailing, vehicle wrapping and paint protection film installation.
Responsibilities
- Safe removal and refitting of trims, bumpers, lights, spoilers and interior components
- Preparing vehicles for wrap and PPF installation
- Vehicle washing, decontamination and detailing (training provided)
- Assisting with machine polishing and paint correction
- Supporting installers during wrap and PPF projects
- Carrying out quality control checks before vehicles leave the workshop
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment
- Preparing completed vehicles for customer collection
- Assisting with body kit installations where required
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Mechanical or automotive background
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Confidence removing and refitting vehicle components
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Genuine passion for cars
Applicants without a mechanical or automotive background will not be considered.

The Person
This role is not suitable for someone with a "that will do" attitude.
We work on premium, performance and high-value vehicles where attention to detail is critical. The successful candidate must take pride in their workmanship and understand the importance of returning every vehicle to the customer in perfect condition.
We are looking for someone who notices the small details, checks their own work, takes responsibility for the finished product and genuinely cares about maintaining the highest standards.
