Full job description

About Us:

We are the UK’s leading Plastic Recycling Facility. Pro Environmental is dedicated to transforming waste into valuable resources through innovative recycling technologies. Our commitment to sustainability drives us to lead the industry in creating a circular economy.

Working hours:

12 hour shifts, 6pm - 6am , 4 shifts on 4 shifts off

Responsibilities:

Leading a team by setting daily tasks, providing all necessary training.
Taking care of the day to day running of the factory floor.
Ensuring you and your team are working in compliance with the company’s Health & Safety policies.
Carrying out instructions handed down from Supervisors or Managers.
Ensuring that high standards of quality are kept and comply with the Company’s Quality policy.
To make sure all relevant reports and paperwork are completed daily.
Maintaining a clean and tidy site.
Leading by example, in terms of timekeeping, attendance and visibility.
Proactively being observant and highlighting any issues that arise with the plant and machinery.
Keeping to production targets set by Senior Management.
Data collection from input/output figures

Skills/Experience required:

Production experience
Minimum 1 years experience as a chargehand
Target driven
Flexibility
Awareness and initiative
Good communication skills
FLT Licence would be advantageous
This industry does involve working around plastic waste so it can be dusty and smelly
