Furniture Warehouse is a rapidly expanding furniture retailer with 8 stores across the East Midlands, specialising in high quality, low cost furniture for every room in the home. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Manager to join the team in our NEWARK-ON-TRENT store.

Reporting to the Directors, this is an extremely varied role not necessarily typical of a retail store, including wrapping/unwrapping, building and moving furniture, actively selling to customers and dealing with your customers during the duration of their journey shopping with us inclusive of the after-sales process.

The candidate should get a kick out of providing a first class customer experience. An amiable and presentable character is essential in this customer-facing role, you must be comfortable approaching and conversing with those that enter the store.

Since the job is so varied, flexibility is also essential, changing between building a Wardrobe and selling to a customer in the blink of an eye. The nature of the job dictates that a reasonable level of physical fitness is also a must.

You'll also need excellent administration skills and should be familiar with office applications and stock systems.

This is a FULL TIME role based on 40 hours per week hours a week on a 5 day rota with 2 rest days each week. Workdays may also includes weekends and public holidays.

The basic salary is £32,000 pa with commission potential of an additional £10,000 pa. You will also benefit from a generous staff discount programme and as a result of company expansion, opportunities for progression are frequent for those that regularly go above and beyond.
