Job Overview
We are seeking a personable skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our small family run business. As a company, we strive to deliver a high standard of workmanship and service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of primarily residential properties. This role requires a dedicated and practical individual who takes pride in their work, has strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position offers an opportunity to develop technical expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently.
Read technical drawings and schematics accurately to execute installation or repair work.
Assist with the assembly of mechanical components and systems as required.
Adhere to company policies and standards at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience with a range of plumbing and heating systems, and all types of plumbing materials and methods.
Personality of integrity, honestly, respectfulness and loyalty.
A sense of humor!
Ability to accept responsibility for their work.
Basic maths skills.
Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship and safety compliance.
