Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to sell products while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a blend of organisational skills and time management to effectively manage client interactions and drive sales.

Duties

Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
Utilise upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume.
Maintain an organised workspace and manage time efficiently to meet sales targets.
Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring clarity in all interactions, both in person and over the phone.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries and follow-ups.
Perform basic maths calculations for transactions and product pricing.
Collaborate with team members to achieve collective sales goals.
Maintain knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a sales role or similar position is desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
A friendly demeanour with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
Previous experience in upselling or cross-selling is beneficial but not essential.
