Full job description

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervising teams of IRATA technicians, operational & trades personnel.
Must be proficient in all aspects of Rope Access Operations, including delivering toolbox talks, project briefs, liaising with site teams, other contractors and clients on-site.
Maintaining extensive knowledge of the IRATA International Code of Practice (ICOP) and key legislation.
Undertaking planning tasks including compiling risk assessments and method statements.
Carrying out pre-works site visits, meetings, and aiding with compliance audits.
Assisting with equipment inspections and logistics.
Providing safety supervision, onsite organisation and leadership to various projects across the business.
Ensuring works are completed to high standards, whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety and professionalism.
Keeping all IRATA documentation and Certification up to date.
Ensuring operational safety and certification of all equipment is maintained at all times.

Key Skills & Qualifications Required:

IRATA Level 3 Certification.
First Aid Certificate
CSCS Card
CCNSG Safety Passport
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Proficient in time management and prioritising tasks.
Capability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel as required.
Experience within the engineering & construction sector.

Desirable Experience:

Experience / certificates below are desirable but not required as full training will be provided.

Trade specific background.
Experience within the rail sector.
SSSTS / SMSTS
Confined Space Medium/High Risk
IPAF MEWP
PTS
