Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Safety Steward, where your energetic presence and keen eye for safety will help create a secure and welcoming environment for all. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining safety protocols, assisting guests and staff, and ensuring that safety standards are upheld throughout the venue or event space. Your proactive approach and management skills will contribute to a positive experience for everyone involved, fostering a culture of safety and hospitality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry points and common areas to ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
Assist guests with directions, inquiries, and support to enhance their experience while maintaining security protocols
Conduct regular safety inspections of the premises, identifying potential hazards and reporting them promptly
Manage crowd control during events or busy periods to prevent incidents and ensure smooth flow of guests
Collaborate with management to implement safety initiatives and emergency response plans
Document incidents, safety concerns, and daily activities accurately in reports and logs
Provide guidance on safety procedures to staff and guests, promoting awareness and compliance

Experience

Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality or guest services environments is highly desirable
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle diverse situations confidently and professionally
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a lively setting
Knowledge of safety protocols, crowd management techniques, and emergency procedures preferred
Passion for delivering exceptional guest services while maintaining a safe environment
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to safety concerns or incidents
