Senior Business Development Executive
Location: Ebbw Vale, Wales (with UK and international travel as required)

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional, commercially driven, and highly creative Senior Business Development Executive to spearhead revenue growth across three innovative business sectors:
- Electric Sports Cars – selling premium, retro, electric sports cars to high-net-worth individuals, collectors, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients.
- Electric Skateboard Platforms – commercialising vehicle platforms for low-volume vehicle manufacturers, specialist mobility businesses, and niche automotive OEMs.
- Advanced Composite Materials & Engineering Solutions – providing lightweighting, structural, and manufacturing solutions to businesses across automotive, aerospace, defence, marine, motorsport, and industrial sectors.
This is not a traditional sales position. We are looking for a strategic dealmaker, relationship-builder, and creative thinker who can identify opportunities that others miss, design compelling commercial propositions, and build partnerships from concept through to contract.
The successful candidate will be equally comfortable presenting a luxury vehicle to a billionaire entrepreneur, negotiating platform supply agreements with automotive manufacturers, pitching technology solutions to film production studios, or helping create innovative composite applications for industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across all company divisions.
- Develop and execute growth strategies targeting domestic and international markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, investors, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, procurement teams, and industry influencers.
- Develop sales pipelines and manage opportunities through the full business development lifecycle.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, partnerships, licensing opportunities, and strategic collaborations.
Premium Electric Vehicle Sales
- Build relationships with high-net-worth individuals, private collectors, family offices, and luxury lifestyle networks.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences that reflect a premium luxury brand.
- Create bespoke ownership propositions and exclusive customer engagement programmes.
- Represent the company at automotive events, private showcases, motorsport gatherings, and luxury brand experiences.
- Generate referrals through strategic networking and relationship management.
Electric Skateboard Platforms & Mobility Solutions
- Identify and engage low-volume vehicle manufacturers seeking EV platform solutions.
- Develop commercial partnerships with specialist vehicle builders, technology companies, and mobility innovators.
- Support customers in integrating platform technologies into new vehicle programmes.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate customer requirements into commercially viable solutions.
Film Industry Business Development
- Develop relationships with film studios, production companies, vehicle coordinators, stunt teams, and prop departments.
- Secure opportunities for electric vehicle supply, specialist platforms, engineering support, and bespoke vehicle projects.
- Create innovative commercial packages tailored to film and television productions.
- Position the company as a trusted partner within the film, television, and entertainment sectors.
Composite Materials & Engineering Solutions
- Identify businesses that can benefit from lightweight composite technologies.
- Develop and present tailored engineering and manufacturing solutions.
- Work alongside technical teams to create customer-specific proposals.
- Drive long-term strategic customer relationships and repeat business opportunities.
Marketing & Campaign Development
- Design highly creative lead-generation campaigns and market-entry strategies.
- Develop innovative sales approaches tailored to diverse customer segments.
- Generate original ideas for customer acquisition, partnership development, events, and brand collaborations.
- Work with marketing teams to create compelling content, presentations, case studies, and promotional activities.
- Identify unconventional routes to market and new commercial applications for company technologies.
Essential Experience
- Experience in senior business development, strategic sales, commercial partnerships, or related roles.
- Proven track record of generating significant revenue growth and securing high-value contracts.
- Experience selling complex technical, engineering, automotive, luxury, or B2B solutions.
- Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to close opportunities with long and complex sales cycles.
