Vans Direct - Newport

At our Vans Direct - Newport site,we are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join our team! We are offering a £45,000 basic salary with an OTE of £70,000 plus company car and company benefits.

Role purpose: To lead the Vansdirect sales team, driving profitable vehicle leasing, maintenance and finance sales while ensuring strong customer service, compliance and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop the Sales Executive team.
Deliver sales, revenue, margin, conversion and customer retention targets.
Monitor individual and team performance against agreed KPIs.
Ensure enquiries, quotes and follow-ups are handled quickly and professionally.
Support the team with complex quotes, customer objections and escalations.
Maintain high standards of customer service, CRM use, administration and compliance.
Work with procurement, operations, customer service, sales support and marketing to improve performance.
Review cancellations, lost sales and renewals to reduce risk and improve results.

Skills and Experience

Experience managing a target-driven sales team.
Strong leadership, coaching and performance management skills.
Good knowledge of vehicle leasing, finance products and commercial vehicles.
Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills.
Confident using CRM systems, reporting tools and working to FCA, GDPR and company standards.
