Join the Team at TDW Distribution

TDW Distribution Ltd is a well-established and growing transport company providing reliable general haulage services throughout the UK. We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our Newport-based operation on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver seeking regular night work, modern vehicles, and a stable, long-term position.

Shift Pattern

4 On, 4 Off
Night Shifts
Permanent, full-time role

The Role

As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out trunking and general haulage deliveries across the UK, ensuring freight is transported safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Completing general haulage deliveries and collections.
Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
Ensuring loads are secure and transported in accordance with legal requirements.
Completing all relevant transport documentation accurately.
Adhering to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and company compliance procedures.
Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
Keeping vehicles clean and presentable.

What We're Looking For

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous Class 1 experience preferred.
Good understanding of UK road networks and transport regulations.
Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
