Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the head chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to specified recipes and standards
Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations during service
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, equipment, and utensils
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Support the training of junior staff and interns as required
Contribute to menu development and presentation to enhance guest satisfaction

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous kitchen experience, ideally in a similar role such as demi chef or commis chef
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
