We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as an Immersive learning development officer in our Technology Enhanced Learning Unit. Could you be who we are looking for?

About the team/Department you will be joining:
We are a small team based in the learning & development department who oversee the development and delivery of (hydra) immersive learning exercises.
We mainly work from Police Headquarters with occasional home working.
We work 8-4 Monday-Friday though do sometimes work outside these hours to facilitate the delivery of exercises!

About the role and your key responsibilities:
The key responsibility of the role is the design, development, and delivery of ‘hydra’ immersive learning exercises.

Candidates must have a working knowledge of computer networks and Microsoft applications.

Candidates will be expected to manage the day to day usage of the Hydra facilities within South Wales Police.

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:

Desirable Criteria:
Broad range of police experience and an understanding of the Hydra immersive learning environment.
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications.
Must be able to communicate at all levels and develop professional relationships
Must possess good organisational skills and be able to manage tasks simultaneously.
Must be able to evidence the ability to instigate research, design, develop and deliver training programmes.
Must have working knowledge of training design.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to RV Vetting.
