Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at iBounce. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong focus on customer service, sales performance, team leadership, and the day-to-day operation of our busy family entertainment venue.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management team in delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the venue operates safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Working Hours

16-hour contracted position
Must be available to work every weekend - This is a weekend position
Flexibility is essential during school holidays and peak trading periods
Additional hours may be available to cover holidays, sickness, and business needs

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day management and operation of iBounce
Lead by example and help motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service
Drive sales and maximise revenue opportunities through admissions, café sales, parties, and promotions
Assist with staff supervision, training, and development
Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the venue
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
Monitor staffing levels and support efficient rota management
Carry out opening and closing procedures as required
Support stock control, ordering, and cash handling processes
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed

Health & Safety Responsibilities

Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture
Ensure all safety checks and inspections are completed accurately and on time
Monitor customer compliance with safety rules and procedures
Report and record accidents, incidents, and maintenance issues
Ensure staff follow all safeguarding and operational procedures
Assist in maintaining a safe environment for customers, visitors, and employees

What We're Looking For

Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality, leisure, retail, or a customer-facing environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A positive, proactive, and professional attitude
Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
Sales-focused with the ability to identify opportunities to increase revenue
Confident in handling difficult situations and resolving customer concerns
Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and willing to support the business during busy periods
