Job Introduction

Are you passionate about helping autistic adults and those with learning disabilities achieve their desired potential? Autism Anglia, a well-established independent charity, are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Residential House and Opportunities Centre in Dereham. You’ll provide strong, visible leadership — ensuring safe, high-quality, person‑centred support while inspiring and developing your teams.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with individuals to help them develop life skills, achieve personal goals, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

Salary

Competitive based on experience

Hours

Full-time: 37 hours per week

About the role

Lead day-to-day operations across residential and day services
Ensure compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and Health & Safety standards
Recruit, develop, and support a skilled, motivated staff team
Oversee personalised support plans, risk assessments, and reviews
Manage budgets, resources, and staffing efficiently
Work closely with families, professionals, and external agencies
Drive continuous improvement and promote meaningful community engagement

We welcome applications from individuals who

Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
Management & Leadership qualification (or working towards)
Significant experience supporting autistic people and/or those with learning disabilities
Strong knowledge of social care legislation and community services
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
