Full job description

The Mill Pre-School is situated in the village of Ackworth near the market town of Pontefract. It is the fifth Waterton pre-school part of the successful Waterton Academy Trust.

Waterton Pre-Schools is looking for early years practitioners to join us on our journey in creating and developing the pre-schools for the children and families of the communities they serve, providing the care and education they deserve.

Our aim is to continue to provide safe, happy and inspiring environments with highly skilled and trained staff that help to support children to thrive and achieve their true potential. You will become an integral part of a team of passionate staff who work tirelessly to create an enjoyable learning experience for our children. The team will include an Executive Headteacher, a Senior Manager, a Manager, Deputy Manager and other Keyworkers.

Our Pre-Schools offer sessional and full day care for children aged 9 months to 5 years all year round.

This is an exciting new role with opportunity to shape the direction of the service. Appropriate induction; training and support will be given to ensure that you are successful.

Our Pre-Schools are supported by Waterton Academy Trust central business support team which has grown in experience, knowledge and size over time and are highly regarded by our schools.

Location - The Mill Pre-school, Millgate, Ackworth, Pontefract, WF7 7PH

Salary & Grade - Grade 4 £13.26 - £13.47 per hour

Hours - various

Term time only/all year round

Permanent

The post is to commence in September when our new setting opens.

Keyworker A (Baby Room)

Hours – Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – 7.30am to 5.30pm (28.5 hours per week)

All year round

Keyworker B (Baby Room)

Hours – Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 7.30am to 5.30pm (28.5 hours per week)

Term time only

Keyworker C

Hours – Monday to Friday – 7.30am to 3.15pm (36.25 hours per week)

Term time only

Keyworker D

Hours – Monday, Wednesday and Thursday – 9.00am to 5.30pm (24 hours per week)

Term time only

Keyworker E

Hours – Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – 9.00am to 5.30pm (24 hours per week)

Term time only

Keyworker F

Hours – Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday – 7.30am to 3.15pm (21.75 hours per week)

Term time only

Keyworker G

Hours – Monday – 9.00am to 3.15pm

Tuesday and Wednesday – 7.30am to 3.15pm (20.25 hours per week)
