We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic and results-focused Sales Executive to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new business, strengthen existing client relationships, and represent our innovative Digital Forensics and eDisclosure solutions, including our internationally renowned Virtual Forensic Computing (VFC) software, our soon-to-be-launched VF-A platform for Android virtualisation, and our comprehensive eDisclosure services. Our products and services play a vital role in supporting digital investigations across the UK and around the world.

The Role

Working closely with our technical and operational teams, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and helping organisations understand how MD5's products and services can support their digital investigation requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the Law Enforcement, Government and Legal sectors.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, marketing campaigns and proactive prospecting.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from initial contact through to completion.

Client Relationship Management

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
Identify opportunities to expand products and services within existing accounts.
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Sales Presentations

Arrange and attend client meetings across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.
Deliver engaging presentations, demonstrations and proposals to senior decision-makers.
Understand client requirements and recommend tailored solutions.

Collaboration

Work closely with MD5's Digital Forensics and eDisclosure specialists to develop bespoke solutions for clients.
Liaise with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully and exceed customer expectations.

CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate records using the company CRM system.
Produce sales forecasts and activity reports.
Use Microsoft Office and social media platforms to support sales and marketing activities.

About You

You will be an ambitious self-starter who enjoys meeting people, developing lasting business relationships and achieving sales success.

Essential

Proven experience in business development, sales or account management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Experience working with Law Enforcement, Government or Legal organisations.
Knowledge of Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, eDisclosure/eDiscovery or software sales.
Experience using CRM systems.
