Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a comfortable atmosphere for guests and residents alike, contributing to their overall experience.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Ensure that all rooms are well-stocked with necessary supplies such as toiletries and linens.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in communal areas and facilities.
Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring that all linens are clean and properly stored.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic cooking skills would be an advantage for roles requiring meal preparation or assistance.
Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
