Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Part 2 Scaffolder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on-site, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction sector, contributing to the safe and efficient completion of building works. Applicants must be able to work in various environments and be committed to maintaining high safety standards throughout their duties.

Duties

Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Inspect scaffolding components regularly for damage or wear and report any issues immediately.
Ensure all scaffolding is secure and stable before use by other team members.
Assist with the transportation and organisation of scaffolding materials on-site.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, or masons to facilitate project progress.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Follow all site-specific safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment for all personnel.

Skills

Proven experience in scaffolding, with relevant certification (e.g., Part 2 Scaffolders Ticket).
Strong knowledge of construction practices including carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and fabrication is advantageous.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and safety instructions accurately.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail for inspection and assembly tasks.
Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks and work at heights comfortably.
Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance and effective communication within the team. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to develop their career within the construction industry while ensuring high standards of safety and quality in all aspects of scaffolding work.

Pay: £180.00-£200.00 per day
