We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our leading Divisional teams at Vertu Motors!

At Vertu Motors we are continually moving forward, and our Kia Toyota Division is an important part of our growth, representing two innovative and highly respected brands with strong product portfolios across hybrid, plug-in hybrid, electric and commercial vehicles. With this comes an opportunity for a Divisional Aftersales Manager to join our Kia Toyota Division, supporting our dealerships across Scotland.

If you are an experienced Aftersales Manager looking to progress your career, or a Group Aftersales Manager wanting to join one of the largest Motor Retailers in the UK, this could be a great opportunity for you! Due to the location of the dealerships you will support, we are looking for the successful candidate to be based in Scotland.

In the role of Divisional Aftersales Manager you will help deliver our Aftersales strategy, ensuring capacity for growth and driving performance.

You will have significant operational engagement with the Aftersales Management team who will rely on you for support, coaching and direction. As such, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and develop the capability of individuals and of a wider management team. Developing a high-performance culture and team will be your primary leadership objective.

Reporting directly to our Kia Toyota Divisional Aftersales Director, this role forms part of our wider divisional team led by the Franchise Director, who together set and drive the direction and strategy for the dealership network. Within this role you will provide your teams with expert aftersales support and take the lead in relation to reviewing technological changes, manufacturer initiatives and new model launches, in relation to their impact on the division’s operational performance and to maximise the opportunity they present.

This is an exciting time to support both Toyota and Kia. Toyota’s current and forthcoming UK range includes significant new model activity across hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles. Kia also continues to expand its innovative range giving the successful candidate the opportunity to work with brands that are investing strongly in electrification, customer choice and future mobility. In addition to our Kia and Toyota network, this role also provides support to one Geely site, LEVC and Mazda, offering exposure to a broader mix of brands and aftersales operations.

We are looking for you to be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the Aftersales arena, ideally within a franchised Motor Retailer. You must be steadfastly customer centric and be able to develop and deliver tactics that support long-term customer relationships. Experience dealing with manufacturers, and contributing at a strategic level to thinking and decision making, is essential as you will be the link between the Group and our Toyota and Kia brands on aftersales, alongside supporting our additional Geely, LEVC and Mazda operations.
