Full job description

Experienced Hotel Guest Liaison / Events Co-ordinator and Receptionist wanted for full time position at a combined 30 bedroom boutique hotel , encapsulating film , art and music with a modern South East Asian street food influenced restaurant on the ground floor , a cinema event space and a roof terrace bar in the heart of the West End with a very music and high profile clientele.

This an ideal opportunity for someone who is both enthusiastic and motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit wanting to develop their career in the Hospitality and Leisure industry.. The successful candidate must have Hotel Receptionist and Events experience , and will be working closely with and answering directly to the Hotel Director applicants must be able to work under pressure in an often time sensitive environment . Essential knowledge and proficiency in Hotel Reservations Systems , Social Media , Marketing , Word , Excel , and Powerpoint .

Duties

You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional hospitality and guest services. Your core skills in hotel experience will enable you to manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently while addressing guest inquiries and concerns. With premium skills in multilingual communication and telephone etiquette, you will enhance the guest experience and ensure effective communication. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere and contributing to the overall satisfaction of our guests, making you an essential part of our hotel team.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, maintaining accurate records.
Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
Handle telephone calls and emails with professionalism, offering information and assistance as needed.
Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of hotel services , up and coming events , offerings and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
Make both hotel and restaurant reservations via our booking platforms.
Manage different projects , memberships , and event bookings with a can do attitude.
Respond to events enquiries and submit events proposals in a timely manner and execute events on the day , ensuring guest satisfaction .

Job Type

Full Time / Permanent

5 days per week based on a 7 day shift rota

40 hour week

Flexible hours may be required at peak times to cover events

Experience

2 years minimum dealing with reception and planning executive events .
