Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Kitchen Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a dynamic team.

Duties

Garnish each item that the chef creates and decorate the plate it will be served on
Pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service to customers
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the your area, utensils, and work surfaces
Restock Kitchen supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure compliance with food safety standards

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong understanding of food safety standards
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Friendly demeanour with strong communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required; punctuality is essential
