Full job description

Some prior experience with large format printing would be helpful .As its a same operation the successful candidate will be responsible for operating printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining the smooth running of printing processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude to contribute to a dynamic production environment.

Duties

Operate various types of printing machinery with precision and care.
Set up and calibrate printers according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimise downtime.
Assist with fabricating and assembling printed materials as required.
Manage stock of printing supplies and ensure materials are available for production runs.
Conduct quality checks on printed products to meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Use hand tools, power tools, sewing equipment, and fabrication tools as needed for finishing tasks.
Assist in warehouse activities including heavy lifting and stock movement.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating and maintaining printing machinery effectively.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, sewing, and fabrication techniques is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in quality control processes.
Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly.
Prior experience with printing or manufacturing processes is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
