Early Years Practitoner 2-4 year old room

At Mendip House we ensure that each child is nurtured and encouraged to meet their full potential, gain new skills, alongside developing their confidence and independence.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, caring & patient Early Years Practitioner to join our team.

Your Role:

Working alongside other team members to embrace Mendip House's vision and curriculum.
Creating a rich and enabling environment where children can thrive.
A Key person to a group of 2-4 year olds.
Build a positive and trusting bond with both the children and their families.
Provide meaningful, purposeful and exciting activities.
Follow Mendip House routines, Policies & Procedures.
Complete each child's Learning Journal and share with parents.
Be part of the Senior Leadership Team, with good communication and a "Can do" attitude.
Supporting the nursery manager in operational excellence and compliance.

Essential: Level 3 or above Qualification in Early Years

Desirable: A willingness to achieve these is essential.

Hours and Pay:

Full time - Tuesday - Friday 8am-6pm

Pay: as detailed in description.
