Roadside Technician / Recovery Driver – Coventry (4 on 4 off)

Full Time | Permanent | Immediate Start Available

Beeches Recovery is looking for reliable and hardworking Roadside Technicians / Recovery Drivers to join our growing team, based from our Coventry depot.

This is a varied, hands-on role attending roadside breakdowns and accidents, recovering vehicles safely and transporting them to their destination. No two days are the same.

You'll be dealing directly with customers, so a professional, friendly approach and good communication skills are essential.

What you'll be doing

Attending roadside breakdowns and accidents.
Recovering and transporting vehicles safely.
Carrying out basic roadside assistance where appropriate.
Delivering excellent customer service.
Working as part of a busy, supportive team.

What we're looking for

Full UK driving licence (minimum requirement).
Basic mechanical knowledge (jump starts, wheel changes etc.).
Reliable, hardworking and flexible.
Good communication and customer service skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Full training provided

Previous recovery experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Shift Pattern

Four on, four off.
07:00–19:00.
As part of the roadside recovery industry, flexibility is essential. Occasionally, shifts may extend beyond the scheduled finish time to complete an outstanding recovery safely.

Pay

£29,000 – £34,000 OTE - the upper end of the band reflects regular overtime opportunities and additional hours.
