Full job description

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Support team member to join Agecko UK Ltd.

This is a junior opportunity and previous sales experience is not essential. We are looking for someone who is organised, confident communicating with people and keen to learn and develop within a commercial environment.

The role combines customer support, sales administration and operational support, working closely with our Business Development Managers and Account Managers. You will gain a strong understanding of our customers, suppliers, services and the waste management industry, with the opportunity to develop into more commercially focused responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

Managing shared customer inboxes and supporting day-to-day enquiries
Building rapport with customers over the phone and occasionally face-to-face
Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments
Providing general sales administration and supporting BDMs and Account Managers
Reaching out to suppliers for quotes and assisting with customer quotations
Working with spreadsheets to support reporting, pricing and supplier management
Raising jobs, processing paperwork and supporting compliance processes
Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
Supporting customer/site visits, including check-ins, samples, signage and spot-checks
Conducting supplier audits as part of our ISO processes
Supporting specialist quotations, including hazardous waste
Helping to source new suppliers and maintain supplier information

Requirements

The role would suit someone who:

Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
Communicates confidently and professionally
Is proactive and willing to take initiative
Can prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
Is comfortable using spreadsheets and learning new systems
Has a positive, solution-focused attitude
Wants to learn and develop within a commercial business environment

This role is part of our Commercial Development Pathway, designed to give you a strong grounding in customer service, operations and the industry before progressing into more commercially focused responsibilities.

Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year
