Job Summary

SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team at Pan Asian & Grill. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Asian dishes, assisting in the kitchen, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills within a vibrant restaurant environment, contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Support with food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal
Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold hygiene standards
Serve food to customers when required, providing friendly and professional service
Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately

Requirements

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or a culinary environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Previous restaurant experience or serving experience is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
A passion for Asian cuisine and a willingness to learn new techniques
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
